Mike Mandolfo founded Strategic Benefits in 2014 with a passion to help local employers and families manage their health insurance and employee benefit plans in the ever-changing landscape of healthcare reform.

After spending many years within the insurance carrier and human capital management industry, Mike noticed a division between broker relationships and consumer needs. Striving to offer the best, Mike wanted to create a business model where relationships and needs were met. Soon after, Strategic Benefits was born. Mike strives to build trusting client relationships, while keeping benefit costs low, value high, and compliance in check.

​Mike grew up in southwest Iowa and graduated Cum Laude from Peru State College (NE) with a bachelor’s degree in business finance. His professional expertise stems from 20+ years in the insurance industry, with a primary focus on group benefit solutions for small to midsized employers (and) health plan strategies for self-employed families.  

 

Mike Mandolfo has led Strategic Benefits to distinguished recognitions that include Best of Omaha winner 2022, 2023, and 2024 in multiple categories that include BEST "Employee Benefits Company" and BEST "Health Insurance Provider". Mike has also led Strategic Benefits to being recognized by the Federal Health Insurance Marketplace as a distinguished "Circle Of Champions" recipient for serving the health insurance needs of the great Omaha community from 2017 - 2024.
